Temporary Post (Maternity Leave Cover)
Grade 5 Point 11-14 actual salary £21570-£22058 Start Date: June 2024 Hours 8.05 – 3.35pm35 hours per week 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days 1 week) We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistant to join our early years team and work in our Nursery. We are looking for someone who is caring, flexible, and dedicated to ensuring that all children realise their full potential in all areas of curriculum and school life. We are looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant who: • Has experience of working in an Early Years environment • Puts children at the forefront and supports our inclusive, supportive ethos • Has experience of teaching or supporting early years phonics • Has excellent knowledge of children’s early development needs • Can provide classroom support for learning and behaviour • Can work as part of a team • Has a full and relevant level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant qualification Previous experience in working in an Early Years environment is essential. All staff are responsible for the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
