Summary

Catherine Infant School are looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a key stage 1 class and EYFS class on a permanent basis Interview date: 12.06.2024Start date: 22.08.2024Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday term time, plus inset daysGrade: Level 2 point 5-6. Salary £16.444.38 - £16,719.38 depending upon experience.This is an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our key stage 1 or EYFS team.Desirable
Experience of Read Write Inc (RWI)
Ability to deliver Better Reading and Writing Partners (BRWP) Training will be provided.
May be required to undertake lunchtime supervision duties.
The successful candidate must:
Have a strong passion for helping our children to progress in their education and achieve their potential
A willingness to learn and apply new skills
Have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent
Show energy, motivation and flexibility
Show good initiative and be a team player
Have a good command of the English language
Have experience as a teaching assistant in partnership with a class teacher
Be flexible and adaptable to the teacher and class needs
Have excellent behaviour management skills
