We are looking for a Care Team Leader to work within our growing Supported living team.

A key purpose of the job is to act as a role model, to staff ,so that they are encouraged to understand the people we are supporting, take pride in providing the practical and emotional care that enables the individual service users to lead a good quality of life.

Key Skills

  • 12 Months Experience in a Caring environment
  • To supervise the day to day delivery of care, to ensure service user needs are met and manage service in absence of Manager.
  • To be responsible for the care, welfare and safety of service users and health and safety of staff.
  • Coordinate the service and participate in reviews, reassessing the changing of person centred support plans to ensure they are up to date and in line with individuals needs.
  • Undertake regular supervisions with staff.
  • Act as a skills coach for staff and chair regular team meetings.
  • To participate when required in the recruitment of staff within an equal opportunities framework.
  • Health & Social Care Level 3 Qualification
  • Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our Service Users
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team (family)
  • Passionate about making a difference to someone else life
  • Good written skills
