The job:
This support is for a young person who turns 29 this year. Her family describes her as having an extra chromosome that makes her special. She needs support and encouragement to get the most out of life. This includes developing her life skills and increasing her confidence and independence.
The right person:
Can you understand and support the challenges for this person to lead a fully engaged life in the community?
Have you got experience in supporting people to develop their independent life skills? These include money management, social awareness, independent travel skills and making healthy lifestyle choices.
Do you enjoy going shopping, swimming, visiting the cinema, watching sports events - particularly rugby?
The Hours :
This is a post for a casual worker, working up to 16 hours a week by mutual agreement. Support is most likely to be needed: Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
The Pay:
£11.44 per hour
Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks the cost of which will be met by the employer.
