Academic Appointments are recruiting for a 5 day Teaching Assistants to start ASAP.

Full Job Description:

We are recruiting for 5 day Teaching Assistants to start ASAP. The role would be to work in a Primary school which provides specialist education for children with Special Education Needs aged 3-11.

The education provider follows a well designed curriculum with is broad, balanced and relevant to each individual child.
A successful candidate would have:

Experience supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs.
Experience in an educational setting within the last 2 years.
Experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months.
Experience working with Early Years, KS1 and KS2 pupils.
Has a passion for making a difference.
You must be confident, caring, and assertive personality.
What to expect:

Working in these settings requires patience, confidence, and a caring attitude as many of these students have difficult social, emotional, and mental health issues which need to be managed.
You will be expected to support any pupils with their physical needs including mobility support and personal care.
You will be supporting pupils with reading, writing, creativity and mathematics as well as supporting them to engage in play and physical development.
Requirements:

Team Teach qualification (desirable).
Moving & handling training (desirable).
Available for 5 days work.

Experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months.

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
