The Role:
Join our diverse Adult Provider Payments team within our Adults’ Health and Care directorate and develop a career in administration and finance, whilst making a real difference to the lives of Hampshire residents. We are committed to creating an excellent customer experience for both our care providers and our service users.

In this busy and varied role, you’ll use your excellent attention to detail to accurately resolve complex financial queries and ensure care payments are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Using your organisational skills you’ll deal with a high volume of queries via our email inbox, authorise payments and reconcile accounts, whilst helping to improve our current processes and policies.

Take a look at our Candidate Pack for more information about the role, team and our values by visiting our website. The section ‘About you’ explains what specific knowledge, skills and experience we want you to tell us about. Make sure you explain how you meet these requirements and demonstrate our values, in your application.

Person centred and resilient, with the ability to take responsibility for your work, you’ll also have superb communication skills to build supportive and collaborative internal and external working relationships with customers and colleagues.

You’ll have first-class numeracy and IT skills but what we’ll value most is your willingness and ability to learn new skills to become an active, adaptable and involved member of our uniquely skilled team; full training will be provided. If you have transferable skills or relevant experience in a customer facing or numerate role, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently working from home with the occasional requirement to go into the office for training and focused working, depending on business needs. You can work from the office more regularly if this is something you would prefer. Our core working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

In return, we are committed to your continued personal development and offer an extensive Benefits package.
