Summary


An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic research coordinator to join the sport and exercise, imaging and implant research team at the RNOH, led by the Chair of Orthopaedics.

The post holder will have responsibility for the coordination of musculoskeletal and implant imaging studies of recreational and professional health, sport and exercise.

The post holder will support the maintaining of the project schedule, and work towards meeting key milestone and deliverables.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate person to join this team, which will work with surgeons, study participants and engineers at the RNOH.

The successful candidate will support the day to day running of the projects (from participant engagement, study design, data analysis).

The research coordinator will perform data collection of musculoskeletal imaging studies of physical exercise as well as patients with musculoskeletal problems and implants.

We are a multidisciplinary team including orthopaedic surgeons, engineers, biotechnologists, radiologists and computer scientists. We work together to provider better informed diagnosis, care and patient monitoring through the study of health and disease, implant performance, surgical planning and the development of innovative technologies in orthopaedics.

Ensure that the requirements of the research program are fulfilled, including:
• Performing data collection and processing of musculoskeletal imaging studies. This includes, but not limited to, the anonymisation and cataloguing of the imaging and clinical/patient/study participant data, and maintaining the database.
• Liaising with study participants regarding their taking part in the study for musculoskeletal screening and self-assessment questionnaires, continuing the study activities, reporting of results.
• Ensuring personal info relevant to the studies are received securely and processed in compliance with GDPR requirements.
