Summary
Rowley Hall Primary School Governing body wish to appoint an experienced SEN LSP
We are urgently looking for a full time Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) Level 2 or 3 who is has a very strong knowledge of SEN to start to support in our SEN Nest. Predominately working in our Specialist Hub, with a small number of vulnerable children (4 - 6 pupils) with SEN needs. Some pupils have severe autism, ADHD, behavioural issues, non-verbal and other complex needs including assisting with feeding and toilet changing (dual control). You will be working alongside and taking direction from the fully qualified SEN teacher. You will be supporting the children’s learning, this would include with Phonics and maths. Someone who has had experience in this kind of ‘Nest’ or a special school would be ideal, we would prefer someone has not just supported 1:2:1 in a classroom setting, as these needs are more specialised and complex. Knowledge of the Engagement Model and Skills ladder would be an advantage.
