You would be working alongside another teacher and 4 LSA's so there is ample opportunity for sharing ideas and planning. As a SEND teacher you will be responsible for the below:
- Planning and assessing pupils with Autism.
- Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
- Support behaviour by following the children's plans
- Updating and setting targets for children.
- Working alongside Speech and Language Therapist
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold previous experience working within SEND
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
