Summary

SEN Teacher

We are looking for committed and caring SEN Teacher to work with us near Borehamwood. As a SEN Teacher, you will be essential in helping children with SEN access the curriculum and succeed academically by offering them individualised support and guidance. This position is scheduled to start in September, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact from the beginning of the academic year.

Salary Range: £150 - £230 per day

Full time role, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

· Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupils with varying needs, including SEMH, ADHD, Trauma, or undiagnosed conditions.

· Dedication to fostering both academic and emotional progress in pupils.

· Collaboration with parents and carers to ensure a positive academic journey for pupils.

· Assisting in re-engaging young learners back into the educational system.

· Working harmoniously within a cohesive school team.

· Cultivating strong working relationships with classroom and pupil support staff.

· Commuting accessibility around Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Requirements:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

· Proven experience in educating learners with SEMH, ADHD, Trauma, or undiagnosed conditions.

· Ideally, experience in supporting pupils within a specialist provision; however, mainstream teachers transitioning to an SEN setting are encouraged to apply.

· A nurturing approach to teaching learners with SEND.
