OVERVIEW

Working under the Compliance and Training Manager, the Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for undertaking both first and second level audits on a wide range of activities covering both pre and post appointment IVAs, ensuring compliance with internal policies,
The Insolvency Act, The Insolvency Rules and Statement of Insolvency Practices (SIPs). The Quality Assurance Officer will help Identify tends and training needs and provide feedback to Internal staff members and our chosen outsourcing partner.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILTIES The main duties of the Quality Assurance Officer will be: Complete first and second level audits in respect of all business areas in line with the QA Framework Provide feedback and coaching where necessary Identify root causes of complaints and liaise with the Compliance and Training Manager to recommend areas that require further training Assist in the creation of additional audit scorecards where necessary Keep up to date with Insolvency legislation and other relevant guidance Assist in dealing with complaints when required Maintain and analyse Management Information to highlight areas of training and development needs and present to the Compliance and Training Manager to present at board level Ad hoc duties and projects as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA : GCSE Maths and English (Grade A-C or equivalent) Good general IT skills and the ability to adapt to new systems Ability to multi-task and work to targets Strong communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

DESIRABLE CRITERIA : Previous experience in working in personal insolvency CPI/CPPI/PIP
