The North West London (NWL) Children and Adolescent Mental Health services (CAMHS) Provider Collaborative (PC) is a formal partnership between West London NHS Trust (Lead Provider) and Central North and West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). We are looking to recruit to Patient Flow Coordinator to coordinate and link with the Patient Flow Service. The scope of the role will initially cover CAMHS T4 inpatient beds, but may also be expanded in the future to include additional specialisms.
The primary responsibility will be to provide high level administrative support throughout the entire process of admitting and discharging CYP. The post holder should be proficient in utilising Office365 applications and other methods of communication, with a readiness and ability to further enhance their proficiency in this area.
As a CAMHS PC Patient Flow Coordinator, the post holder will be part of the Bed Management Team within the NWL CAMHS Provider Collaborative, serving as the central hub for all referrals for admissions for inpatient care for Children and Young People (CYP) aged 13 to 18. Their primary responsibility will be to provide high level administrative support throughout the entire process of admitting and discharging CYP. The post holder should be proficient in utilising Office365 applications and other methods of communication, with a readiness and ability to further enhance their proficiency in this area.
The Provider Collaborative is responsible for commissioning CAMHS specialised services which are provided in relatively few hospitals, accessed by comparatively small numbers of children and young people. The Provider Collaborative takes a consistent approach to central planning of specialised services which is delivered locally. It works to raise the standards of care for all patients receiving treatment for rare and specialised conditions, ensuring that patients have equal access to services regardless of their location.
