Summary


The purpose of the role is to contribute to the Trust wide development of high-quality education for Bart’s Health. Supporting the Nursing and Midwifery Education Team in the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing and facilitating excellent training and development opportunities for the pre-registration nursing and midwifery workforce and other Health Care Professions when required.

The aim of this post is to facilitate and support the B7 Nurse Education Practitioners to ensure the provision of high quality practice learning experiences for undergraduate adult nursing students and Trainee Nurse Associates. This being part of the career pathways across Bart’s Health. The post holder willdevelopclinical environments that encourage and assure learning that is fit for purpose in partnership withKey Practice Assessors,Practice Assessors, Practice Supervisors andSenior Clinical staff. The post holder will work within nursingacross the organisation 80% of the time working alongside students in clinical practice. Also delivering learning in Healthcare to meet the changing needs and new ways of delivering education in practice. This is inclusive of virtual learning and e –learning.



The post holder will provide specialist clinical and educational knowledge and provide clinical supervision and advice to ensure effective communication and support to facilitate and ensure the provision of high-quality education and training experience to undergraduate students.
