Summary

Quality Inspector

Oxford

£38K - £40K

My client provides high precision CNC Milling/Turning and ancillary services to a variety of high-tech industries including Formula 1, Nuclear Safety and Science & Technology. They are currently on the lookout for a Quality Inspector to join their ever-growing team based in Oxford.

You will be taking control of all aspects of quality control from material supply through thorough checking off in-process inspection, to final delivery along with a disciplined and ‘hands on’ approach to dimensional inspection.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Inspector

• In-Process inspection (During Manufacture)
• Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection
• Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001
• Overseeing goods in/out inspection
• Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures
• Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review
• Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production and inspection

Qualifications & Experience – Quality Inspector

• Ideally you will be an experienced CNC Machinist/programmer with an ‘Inspection’ background
• You will be fully familiar with and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment
• Good communication skills both internally and to outside ‘agencies’ by telephone/email
• Supporting the production team striving for 100% quality
