Supporting out Region: In addition to our PICU we proudly extend our reach through our retrieval service named WATCh (Wales and West Acute Transport for Children) for children in need of receiving timely and expert care across the region. Who should attend: Whilst critical care experience is preferred we welcome registered adult and childrens nurses with an interest in learning more about working within PICU. Your passion, caring nature and dedication to excellence is what truly matters to us. About our Unit: We are the PICU for the south west region of England with 18 beds. We provide a tertiary service for all paediatric sub specialities: trauma, burns, neurosurgery, general surgery, cardiology/cardiac surgery, renal transplant, respiratory, ENT, metabolic medicine, neurology.
