Summary
Located in Kent, nestled within the serene 12-acre grounds of a picturesque manor house, our facility specialises in providing intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury right through to residential care. The site is part of the wider Active Care Group Neuro Network (consisting of 25+ sites) nationally and we focus on the use of clinical expertise, innovation, and technology to meet patient’s expectations of rehabilitation goals. Furthermore, we are proud to be most recently rated as ‘Good’ by the CQC. Our skilled Multi-Disciplinary Team, which includes nursing, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and clinical psychology, work together to provide holistic and effective care for adults aged 18 and above across two units: Neurorehabilitation Unit Within our purpose-built neurorehabilitation unit, we offer intensive, short-term rehabilitation for individuals with significant speech, functional, or cognitive impairments. Each person has personalised rehabilitation goals and follows a structured therapy program aimed at relearning and mastering essential life skills, empowering them for a successful return home. Residential Unit Located in the original manor house, our residential unit provides round-the-clock support for those unable to live independently due to a brain injury or neurological condition. While they may not require extensive nursing care or frequent therapy sessions, they benefit from continuous assistance to navigate daily tasks and maintain a high quality of life. What you'll be working: This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, initially fixed term for up to 12 months with potential to extend.
