An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse Associate, or Assistant Practitioner, to work with the East Lancashire District Nursing Team.

The role involves working autonomously with the support of the wider team to deliver planned care, and successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills, adaptability and resilience at interview. Training and development support will be provided with a dedicated mentor and competency framework in place to ensure that the post holder is secure and confident in their role.

Ability to work contracted hours rotationally across day and night shifts, as reasonably required by the needs of the service. This a 7-day service, including weekends and Bank Holidays

• Delivery of high-quality clinical nursing care to housebound patients including end of life care, wound care, and support for patients with complex long-term conditions.

The post holder must demonstrate professional standards of practice and personal qualities and behaviours as expected by the NMC Code and the Organisation's values and behavioural standards. The successful candidate will be passionate about high quality patient care, they will need to be able to problem solve and adapt to change, know when to seek support and guidance, and ensure the delivery of safe, personal, and effective care. We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering evidence based care, and has a strong desire to make their career in District Nursing.
