As our Senior HR Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with UK and US employment laws, enhancing HR policies, and championing the employee experience. This part-time role offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, promote positive work culture, and impact our global workforce.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role, demonstrating progressive responsibility-taking and leadership
• Strong understanding of UK and US employment laws and regulations, with experience in managing international HR issues
• Experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, including utilising external recruitment agencies and negotiating rates
• Proven ability to mediate and resolve employee conflicts or grievances in a fair and timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Experience in administering compensation and benefits programs across an international workforce
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
• Experience in coordinating diversity and inclusion initiatives
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

What will your role look like?

• Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and execute recruitment strategies, oversee end-to-end recruitment process, coordinate new hire onboarding, and administer skilled worker sponsor licence
• Employee Relations: Address employee queries and concerns, resolve conflicts and grievances, promote positive work culture, and maintain employee handbooks
• HR Compliance: Ensure company employment policies comply with employment law and regulations, manage HR documentation
• Compensation and Benefits: Administer benefit programs, advise senior management on compensation and benefits, conduct benchmarking studies
• Performance Management: Oversee performance mechanisms and support performance improvement in the company
• Training and Development: Assist in identifying training needs, facilitate training sessions, and leading diversity initiatives
• Remote Work Management: Review remote work policies, provide guidance on remote work, and improve remote collaboration
• Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety compliance and implement improvements to protocols
• HR Strategy and Planning: Contribute to HR strategies and assist in workforce planning
• Other: Support the general activities of the Finance & HR Department
