Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in mig welding, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of metal components
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal pieces using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Perform mig welding to join metal components together
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Work with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
- Proficient in mig welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in fabrication
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, and steel components
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
