Summary


We are looking for a motivated Administration Clerk to join the Anticoagulation Service Based at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital.

You will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work.

You must be able to work on your initiative use, tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of hospital systems such as DAWN, CWS and Myrddin would be beneficial although full training will be given to the successful candidate.

This role requires a motivated individual who can use initiative, manage their time and work well in the team. The role requires a flexible approach, therefore requires a calm individual whom can cope under pressure. This opportunity is for someone who can provide clerical and administration support to the team and customer care to patients and visitors. An individual with excellent communication skills is essential. A person who can work on own initiative and as part of a team to provide an environment that focuses on the patient and their experience maintaining confidentiality at all times.

The accurate data entry of patient information on to Myrddin, Dawn and Health Board IT systems. The booking of INR/DVT clinics. The scheduling of patient treatments. The prompt answering/actioning of telephone calls and messages

The postholder must have the ability to pay attention to detail.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
