We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Assistant Technical Officer to join our friendly and dynamic Clinical Pharmacy team.

We are looking for a motivated, supportive team member with an interest in working within Pharmacy and in clinical areas with the wider MDT. You will have excellent initiative, organisational and communication skills, be willing to support others and be able to work under pressure whilst ensuring accuracy. To assist and support in the provision of a safe and efficient Ward-based Pharmacy Service in accordance with Trust and local guidelines, policies and procedures.

To include:
• The management of medicines at Ward level, including Ward stock, Inpatient named supplies, waste and recycling.
• Labelling, dispensing and supplying medicines at Ward level.
• Proactively managing the pharmacy discharge process liaising with the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) and pharmacy teams.
• Supporting the MDT with Bar Code Medicines Administration (BCMA) workflows at Ward level.
