Summary


Support Worker (Female)

We are looking to recruit a support worker to support a 17-year-old girl with a learning disability and epilepsy in her home and community in the Kidderminster area.

She lives with her parents and younger sister in a property that has been adapted to meet her needs.
She attends 6th form at a specialist school for five days per week during term time.

She enjoys going on trips to different settings in the community, including, swimming, shopping, bowling and to local attractions. At home she enjoys coking and craft activities.

The client is able to move around independently and has started to use public transport with support. She requires supervision to ensure she is safe in different situations as she is not always aware of dangers around her and can become upset if a situation is new to her.


The role is for 7 hours on a Saturday from 10am – 5pm and will involve providing support and care for the client ensuring safety and physical wellbeing, enabling her to be an independent individual.

Some previous experience, full driving licence and own car essential.
7 hours per week (Saturdays)

£13.78 per hour

Female applicants only due to the nature of personal care.
This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS, which the employer will obtain and fund on your behalf. You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
