Summary

Administrative Assistant 12 Month temporary contract– Taunton
Somerset Community Credit Union are a Not-for-Profit organisation that offers affordable loans and savings accounts for people in Somerset and North Somerset. We are mainly a volunteer organisation but are looking for an Admin Assistant for our Taunton Office. We do have an office in Bridgwater and occasional cover maybe required.
Hours are fixed 09:15 to 12:15 for 3 mornings a week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (9-hour contract).
£11.44 per hour + Pension and Holiday benefits
Travel expenses if covering the Bridgwater Office

JOB PURPOSE – To run the office efficiently and in a professional manner and to provide cover in our Bridgwater Office when required. Maintain systems and records, be the welcoming face to the Credit Union in person, by mail and online. Support members, volunteers, and the Board.
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
Good standard of English and Maths
Excellent Communication skills
Computer skills – Able to use Excel, Word, email
Own car and able to cover Bridgwater office when needed – expenses paid.
To be able to work independently when trained.
To be available initially to travel to Bridgwater Office for training.
Desirable
Previous experience with a financial company or as an Administrator in another field
Understanding Health and Safety in an office environment
