The Role
* Liaising with maintenance team to ensure urgent remedial works are flagged for action
* Responsible for carrying and responding to radio contact with all departments
* Coordinating work tasks, priority levels and updates between team and departments
* Answering phones and dealing with internal & external queries
* Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
* Record information for unfinished calls tasks to shift change
* Raising purchase orders, liaising with contractors and suppliers, paying invoices, and filing and organising information
* Participate within the engineering shift rota pattern
* Participate within the operation of the emergency attendance call-out facility
* Develop knowledge of hotel structure, fixtures, fittings and plant
* Communicate effectively with all departments
* To liaise with subcontractors, ensuring on they are on site as and when required
* To prepare necessary reports for senior management
* Fully understands equipment and systems in the Maintenance area
* Report Health and Safety hazards immediately to the line manager
