Summary
Crowdys Hill is a dynamic and forward thinking special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. From September 2024 we will cater for over 320 pupils from across the Borough of Swindon and beyond, from the age of 4 up to 19.
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Exams Officer/Admin Support Assistant to work part time in our close knit admin team. You will work as the Exams Officer across our school sites undertaking all aspects of the Exam Officer role under the direction of the Senior Admin Managers & School Business Manager.This post is for 15 hours per week, these hours are flexible for the right candidate, working on site between 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday.
The role will include:-all aspects of the Exam Officer role (see application pack for full details)assisting in our recruitment process; collation of all paperwork and reports; use of SIMS;
general clerical duties including typing of letters and termly newsletter to a high standard;
keep a record of all school policies, send these for updating as and when required;keeping school website current and up to date, following DfE guidelines;other tasks as required by the Admin Team; cover our busy reception on an adhoc basis;You must be flexible in your approach, efficient and organised. You must be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and most importantly you must be able to use your own initiative.This post is term time only plus staff training days and 1 week in August to coincide with results day.Applications will be reviewed as we receive them and may close early if we find the right candidate so please apply early.Contact Trudy Topp, Senior Admin Officer at the school to arrange a visit before applying to discuss the role in further detail.
