A Degree Apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying will provide you with the experience, training and support needed to become a future Quantity Surveyor.
Quantity Surveyors oversee the commercial side of our building projects. This includes the analysis, preparation, and management of all costs, from initial build cost assessments though to site completion. You’ll also manage sub-contracts and materials required to make the build as effective as possible. You'll assist the site team in leading the development of a site from a cost perspective and liaise with trades and costing materials and goods. All this while meeting a challenging schedule, within budget, and with a focus on quality and customers.
For this role, we’re looking for an exceptional person with enthusiasm, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, a methodical approach to problem solving, competent IT skills and a positive determination and ambition to succeed.
In partnership with Northumbria University, we will support the apprentice at work to achieve their apprenticeship. Whilst studying, the apprentice will be required to work full-time, for at least 30 hours a week, and will be supported through learning at work to achieve the requirements of the apprenticeship standard.
Entry Requirements:
112 UCAS Tarrif Points from a combination of an acceptable Level 3 qualification which may include A-Levels or BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas.
You must also have GCSE grades C/4 or above in English Language and Maths or functional skills English and Maths at level 2.
