Summary
A medium sized nursery based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, are looking for a dedicated, driven Nursery Manager to join their team. This role will involve covering in all rooms as and when required.
Job Specification for Nursery Manager:
This is a Maternity Cover role, but there is a possibility of going permanent – 1 year contract.
The Nursery Manager will have previous experience of working as a Nursery Manager or Qualified Nursery Deputy Manager in a nursery setting for a minimum of 3 years, and worked within a childcare setting for 5+ years.
Hours worked are 41.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday all year round, on a shift pattern basis, consisting of 3 full days and 2 half days.
Easily accessible from local bus routes/train station from surrounding areas. The Nursery Manager has a parking space at the setting.

Nursery Manager requirements include:
Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or equivalent qualification – preferred LV6. NOTE: NNEB/QTS is accepted (Not Health & Social Care)
Have a current Safeguarding Certificate
Designated Safeguarding Lead experience
To have recent experience of an Ofsted Inspection
Must have worked as a Deputy Manager/Manager previously
Experience within a nursery/early year setting of a minimum of 5 years
Solid knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent written and spoken English skills
