Founded in 1995, we offer a variety of fun activities both inside and outside, utilising toys, arts and crafts, games, equipment and materials which develop the children physically, educationally and emotionally. All three of our Guildford nurseries are registered as Forest Schools which maximises the learning potential of local woodlands or our own wilderness gardens through regular visits throughout the year.

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Castle Daycare & Preschool - Shamley Green for a caring, enthusiastic person to join their friendly team.
They are looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their setting, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children’s play, learning & development.
Duties Will include
Caring for children
Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
Supporting children's play and learning
Supporting children's development
Adhere to all safeguarding practices
Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning
Planning and supervising child initiated and adult led activities.
Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage
Planning and providing effective teaching and learning in Early Years settings
Making accurate and productive use of assessment in Early Years Settings
As an apprentice you will be included on a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship, this will involve a Regional Trainer meeting with you once a month in the workplace..
Future Prospects 1
This vacancy is for a permanent position (for at least the duration of the Apprenticeship) with the possibility of fulltime employment for a hard working apprentice.

•Adaptable
•The ability to work as part of a team
•Must be able to follow instructions from the room leader
Qualifications required 1
Level 2 or full and relevant in Childcare or Early Years Care required.
GCSE Maths & English or Functional Skills Preferred but not essential as this can be offered as part of the apprenticeship.
