is looking for admin / organisational support.
This is a one-year fixed-term role (maternity cover) starting in August 2024.

Are you highly organised, detailed-orientated and passionate about supporting children and families? We’re seeking a dedicated admin / organisational support colleague to join our outstanding nursery team.
As our main admin / organisational support role, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery. Your responsibilities will include front-desk duties, leading on first aid, assisting with communication between staff and families, preparing registers and maintaining records of attendance, managing our admissions and waiting lists, supporting our finance officer with invoicing, etc. etc. You’ll be the backbone of our administrative functions, allowing our educators to focus on what they do best; caring for and educating our little ones.

Admin / Organisational Support – Scale 5
34.5 hours per week, shifts between 8am and 6pm (on a stable rota of 2 long days and 3 short days), Monday - Friday
From £26,873 per annum, pro rata (this salary relates to 37 hours)
All year round, 52 paid weeks per year

Applicants should have;
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline OR relevant experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems likely to have been gained over a period of two years.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills in order to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Very good ICT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team and to understand school roles and responsibilities and own position within these.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
