Summary

To support the Imaging Service/Operations Manager in the provision of patient centred care and a culture of continuous quality improvement. To work in conjunction with modality team leads overseeing collective Radiology service delivery from modality related projects, plans and workflows In partnership with clinical colleagues ensures that activity, cancer, booking/ choice, access (including relevant aspects of A&E) and quality targets (covering in-patients, day patients and outpatients) are achieved having regard for Trust policies and procedures, and to develop action plans to manage any variances; To support the Imaging Service/Operations Manager and Modality team leads in the achievement of objectives within the Radiology performance framework, ensuring that approved budgets are spent effectively and in accordance with agreed procedures; To support the Imaging Service/Operations Manager and Modality team leads in formulation of operational plans and ensure that these contribute to the achievement of Divisional plan and are supported by benchmarking and capacity planning models. To work closely with the QSI and Clinical Governance team. Ensuring all National requirements for imaging services are met.
