Summary
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lunch Cover Assistant at our nursery in East Tilbury. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about childcare and early education to gain experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervising children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Assisting with mealtime routines, including serving food and encouraging healthy eating habits.
Engaging children in age-appropriate activities during lunch breaks, promoting social interaction and play.
Supporting the nursery staff with general tasks and activities as needed.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the lunch area and assisting with cleanup after meals.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children preferred but not essential.
Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
A passion for working with children and contributing to their development.
