Summary
SEND Teaching Assistant Fixed Term Contract
13 hours 45 minutes per week - term time only 2 hours 45 minutes per day - Afternoons Monday through to Friday 12.30pm – 3.15pm Grade 5, SCP 11-14 (£25,979 - £27,334 pro rata) - Actual f.t.e 0.3107 – Annual actual salary £8,072.62 - £8,493.67 Start Date: ASAP
We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with a child with an EHCP in Key Stage 2. The successful applicant must: Have experience in supporting children with severe learning difficulties Have experience in neurological disorders Have experience in communication and language including strategies to support speech and language difficulties Have experience in delivering targeted interventions in communication and social skills Have epilepsy training and experience Have knowledge of AAC (alternative augmented communication) Have experience of Smart Moves programme Have experience in precision teaching
The successful applicant will work towards the outcomes set out in the EHCP, by supporting the pupil individually.
