After a period of training, you will also become a designated Safeguarding Officer.

You should be able to engage effectively with learners from a wide variety of backgrounds and be able to positively influence young people, demonstrating good listening and interpersonal skills, and be able to work on your own initiative. You should also be a good team player and have a strong understanding and commitment to Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding.
