The Governing Body of Meadowbank Special School seek to appoint a highly motivated Grade 3 teaching assistant to work within our vibrant primary ALN setting.
Meadowbank is a Special School that supports pupils with a range of complex learning needs and speech and language difficulties. Over the past 6 years the school has grown significantly under new leadership and an expanded complex needs admission criteria. The school is a supportive and dynamic place to work with a nurturing ethos in place for both pupils and staff.
Successful applicants must be able to work in a team and show initiative.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
