Summary
Edgewood Primary School is looking to appoint a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a 12 month fixed term contract.This role will be working with children with special educational needs and supporting in our Key Stage One and Two specialist provisions.
The successful candidate will be:
• Qualified as a teaching assistant
• Enthusiastic
• Proactive
• Able to demonstrate they can think on their feet to solve problems
• Able to keep the provision running effectively and meeting the needs of these children
• Be committed to inclusion of the children they work with
• Able to communicate well with children, parents and staff
• Able to maintain a positive outlook and cheerful personality
• Adapt planned curriculum to meet needs
The successful candidate should have a clear understanding of supporting children with a range of special educational needs.
