Our Hereford Care Leavers Service supports Children in Care and Care Leavers to eventually live independent lives. We provide
them with recently refurbished high-quality self-contained flats with access to communal areas. There is 24-hour support and
although this position is not for waking nights, there is the opportunity to top up your pay by doing sleep shifts at £80 a night.
(1 sleep per week = an extra £4,160 per year)

We are looking for a part-time Support Worker (Internally known as a Specialist Support Worker) to join us in Hereford,
Herefordshire 15 hours per week on a rota basis.




* There is so much variety. You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm,
helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to, support with
independent living skills like shopping, budgeting, and cooking.
* Your support will be trauma-informed. You will understand people’s backgrounds and focus on their strengths.
* There will be tailored, specific training that will help you advance through a training pathway and progress during your career
at CCP.
* You will work in collaboration championing Consultation and Engagement. Working in partnership with our residents, their
families, external agencies including; Local Authority housing and homelessness teams, Health Services, Employment/Training
services, Childrens and Families services.
* Experience in the Health and Social Care sector or with people would be useful in this role. However, this is not essential as
induction & training will be given.

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be
