Summary
Job Title: Support and Care Worker
Location: Central Hereford
Hours: Minimum 24 - 37 hours per week, including weekdays and alternate weekend shifts
Our partner is seeking compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team of support and care workers in providing exceptional care to young people with complex disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by helping them live as independently as possible.
Role Overview:
As a care and support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care to our residents, assisting them with daily activities and enabling them to engage in leisure pursuits. We are looking for individuals with previous care experience and a positive attitude towards supporting individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Provide support in both long-term living accommodation and community settings.
Plan and organize leisure activities, such as outings to the cinema, restaurants, and sporting events.
Liaise with family members to provide updates on activities and progress.
Administer medication to residents in accordance with policy and procedure.
Qualifications and Training:
We offer opportunities for career development, including fully-funded level 2 and level 3 qualifications in adult social care, learning support, and team leadership (supervision).
Salary:
Weekdays: £11.91 per hour
Weekends: £14.88 per hour
