Summary
You will be responsible for: Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of children and young people in partnership with them and their parents/guardians Providing excellent short break, palliative, and end of life care at Rainbows in a family centered environment in conjunction with all members of the multi-disciplinary team Ensuring all procedures are carried out in accordance with local and national policies in force within the Hospice Further responsibilities in the role of a Band 5 Nurse at Rainbows, can be found by downloading the Job Description. Requirements: As an experienced Band 5 Nurse at Rainbows, you'll need to be qualified RSCN/RN (Child Branch)/RNLD/RGN with post registration experience, relevant placement experience or pre-nurse training care experience. Experience with babies, children and/or young people (0-25 years) with complex needs is also required for the role. Palliative care experience is desirable, however specialist training and development opportunities will be provided. Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate high standards of clinical care are essential. Further requirements can be found by downloading the Person Specification.
