Grade 5, i.e. salary £28,770 - £23,364 per annum (Pay Award Pending)
Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week

The council are looking for someone who has experience of working with corporate data, recognises the value of information as an asset and has experience of consolidating data sets used in a local authority setting. You will have a good understanding of Information and Business Governance issues. This an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop their knowledge within a busy and varied local government environment.

Key responsibilities:
• Implementation of information governance standards and procedures to ensure consistency in corporate data.
• Manage core delivery processes, applications, interfaces and integrations which helps to ensure information compliance. This includes corporate property data, Open Data, Geo place data and co-ordinating the use of other corporate information.
• To assist with the maintenance of record management policy and maintenance of records throughout their life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and be the first point of contact for Information Governance enquiries.
• Support training and awareness across the organisation on these issues

You will possess excellent communication skills to engage effectively at all levels throughout the organisation. You should also have good IT Skills that will be called upon on a regular basis to assist with projects and general day-day tasks.
