Summary

Full-Time, Permanent, Support Worker, job vacancy, Shepreth area of Cambridge. Situated directly between Cambridge & Stevenage just off the A10 and on commutable by train.

No experience necessary as full training & qualifications provided. Complete your Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care - Fully Funded by the employer.

Benefits
£11.72 - £12.78 per hour. / £24'400 - £26'600 per annum
£1500 Welcome Bonus
4 Weekly rota patterns
Average 40hrs per week.
Full time or part time (min 24hrs) shifts/hours available including weekend only hours.
Paid DBS Check.
Funding to complete Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care

Duties
You would be working within a Supported Living environment which provides support for Young Adults who have learning disabilities. This fantastic service provides support & education for younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities. You will support with:

Life Skills & the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Personal Care needs inc personal hygiene and dressing
Activities - Shopping trips, leisure activities, hobbies
Assist with Therapies inc Hydro Therapy, Sensory rooms.
Support with Music and Art in the Skills centre
Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the Young Adults & your work colleagues.
Recording information and administration.
