The Physiotherapy Service is looking for a Therapist to join our developing Young Adult Hip Musculoskeletal Team. You will be working alongside our Advance Physiotherapy Practitioner for young adult hips to provide the physiotherapy pathway for the management of hip pain in young adults.

This will be an opportunity for Physiotherapists who are now ready to specialise further in their career to develop your knowledge and skills in the assessment and management of a variety of young adult hip pain related conditions.

The role will be split across MSK Outpatients and Orthopaedics Inpatients to enable you to support the pathway of these patients in its entirety.

The role will include providing a high standard physiotherapy service to patients with Neuromusculoskeletal Hip problems. Working within the Orthopaedic team, looking after a mix of post-op presentations alongside the Young Adult Hip Orthopaedic Service.

The team is friendly and dedicated towards the delivery of an excellent service for all our users, as well as constantly looking at better ways to provide a service.

You will be strongly supported by and expert Practitioner in their field in learning new skills and gaining additional training.

You will be required to participate in our orthopaedic twilight and weekend services as part of our Orthopaedic rotas.

Essential working days Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

You will be strongly supported in learning new skills and gaining additional training to support your personal development for the post.

You will have proven knowledge and skills in the management of musculoskeletal therapy and be expected to participate in service development, student training and staff appraisal, as well as manage a caseload of patients. You will also participate on our Orthopaedic weekend rota.

There may be the opportunity to rotate within the Outpatients MSK Team.
