Alcedo care Chester are seeking Domiciliary Care Assistants to cover the Chester & surrounding areas, must be a driver with access to a vehicle! No previous experience is needed as full training is provided.

Various shift patterns available 7am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm / 7am - 11pm (including Alternating weekends)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including assisting with bathing/showering, dressing, grooming assisting with toileting and changing pads.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Administer medication according to prescribed dosage and schedule.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all care provided.

Requirements

• No previous experience needed as full training provided.
• Must be 18 or over.
• Must hold a full UK Drivers Licence, with access to own vehicle.
• Dedicated, caring, punctual and driven with a positive attitude.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and Punctuality
• Understanding the role involves travelling to and from different clients houses to deliver the best quality care.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient nature.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
