Summary

Base is negotiable but will involve regular travel across all of our locality areas
37 hours per week (part time hours considered for an exceptional candidate)
£30,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Avalon Group (Social Care) is an adult social care charity providing person-centred support to working age adults, promoting independence and choice in their everyday lives.

Do you have a passion for designing and delivering training which engages, inspires and develops a positive learning culture? If this sound like you, then you could be our new Learning & Development Trainer.

We are expanding our experienced and innovative team who deliver a suite of face to face training and webinars to our employees and Shared Lives Carers. You will be able to apply your experiences of working in social care to enrich the training you will be providing. You will be solutions focused and able to adapt to changing situations and learning needs.

You will have experience delivering training relating to health and social care and will hold an award in Education and Training or equivalent. Ideally you will be a NAPPI accredited trainer but if not we will fund your learning to be able to deliver this course to our frontline teams.

Knowledge of vocational qualifications and regulatory requirements in the Social Care sector is essential.

Travel within our locality areas covering Yorkshire and the North East is an essential part of the role, and you will need to be able to work flexible hours to meet the training delivery needs. Your base is negotiable for the right candidate but will include time at our Head Office in Harrogate and within locality offices as required. Use of a vehicle for business purposes is a must.
