Full time 37hrs per week, permanent
Based at the Guildhall, Gainsborough

The Council are looking to appoint an experienced Community Safety Officer to lead on our day to work tackling and preventing anti-social behaviour and environmental crime. These areas of work are key priorities for the Council and the role provides a great opportunity for someone to make a real difference out there in our communities.

You will need to be able to build good relationships with partners internally and externally such as the Police and have a good understanding of the tools and powers available to the Council. You will also need to be proactive and able to use your initiative and work independently.

You will have to be able to manage a caseload and will be required to engage in broader initiatives as part of the countywide Safer Lincolnshire Partnership. You will also play a key role locally in co-ordinating the Council’s response to anti-social behaviour via its Anti-Social Behaviour Risk Assessment Conference (ASBRAC).
