Summary

About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting an enthusiastic and capable Field Staff Operative Arborist to join our team to work on this long-standing and well-established major national utility vegetation management contract and to have a firm focus on customer satisfaction, safety, compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and the promotion of safe working practices.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, on a permanent full-time basis; 40 hours per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :
  • We are looking for enthusiastic and capable people to join our team to work on this major national utility arb contract
  • Working within a small team carrying out arboriculture and vegetation management within your region
  • Operating and maintaining specialized plant and equipment for vegetation clearance, according to training
Requirements :
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in arboriculture or forest
  • Skilled and confident in your role although high-quality training is available for the right candidates
  • To be comfortable working in a small team, you will need to be able to manage your own time effectively and promote a professional and safe approach to your work.
  • The candidate will be expected to work across South Wales completing vegetation clearance along transmission powerlines in a small team.
