Community Engagement Worker - Lewisham PCRS
Full time, Ongoing Contract

Humankind Primary Care Recovery Service (PCRS) in Lewisham is looking for full time Community Engagement Co-Ordinator to join our friendly team of Recovery Coordinators. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge around different community groups within Lewisham and be familiar with the borough of Lewisham.

The aim of this role is to engage people in treatment from underrepresented cohorts and working closely with Lewisham Experts by Experience Network (LEEN) in the borough of Lewisham.

Brief duties of the role:

• developing links with community groups
• working closely with LEEN (Lewisham Experts by Experience Network)
• delivering training to community groups with LEEN’s support (non-opiate and alcohol focused).
• Preventative early advice including harm minimisation advice, information and brief treatment episodes.
• EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) lead – promoting inclusion and access to services for all
