Summary
We are looking for a new member of the nursery team to join our vibrant, caring team of early years professionals.
The role would suit individuals with a passion for working with children.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking, full of creative ideas and able to work well within a team. Sale Private Day Nursery is a lovely Nursery with a well-established and supportive team that provides a warm and welcoming environment for children, parents and staff alike.
The post holder will ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe, and receive rich and stimulating play experiences that meet their individual needs.
Your skills and experience will include:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
An understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
A good knowledge of safeguarding procedures
A sound or some knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years
A sound or some understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
An understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities.
You must have the following qualifications, training & experience:
Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2/3 or
Experience of working with children under 2.
Excellent rates of pay (depending on experience) with on-going support and career development. All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure (expense met by employer) and POCA Self Declaration form.
Monday to Friday - Full time
