Imaging Veterinary Surgeon - Wigan
• Proudly independent practice in the large town of Wigan is seeking an Imaging Veterinary Surgeon
• RCVS accredited, award winning hospital with outstanding facilities including MRI (in-house), CT (in-house), color Doppler ultrasound, video endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, 3 theatres, DR x-ray suite, among others
• This is a great opportunity for a vet who has an interest in imaging to a RCVS advanced practitioner in Imaging
• No OOH
• Fantastic salary up to £80,000 DOE
A great new position is available within a referral hospital with huge facilities and a great team of certificate holders and advanced practitioners. The practice is proudly independent offering both first opinion and referral services.
The practice is situated in the heart of Wigan, just 10 minutes from the M6 motorway and a 2-minute walk from Wigan North Western train station, with Manchester and Liverpool airports just 30 minutes away. There are many attractions in the area, such as golf courses, libraries, restaurants, and other conveniences, all within a simple walk away from the practice.
The hospital has RCVS hospital status and "OUTSTANDING" awards from the RCVS, making a huge difference in the veterinary profession. Their facilities are outstanding and include MRI (in-house), CT (in-house), color Doppler ultrasound, video endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, 3 theatres, DR x-ray suite, among others.
Due to the practice's growth, they are seeking an imaging veterinary surgeon who wants to progress and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure strong client-practice relationships are maintained. The practice has 9 vets, 12 RVNs, 3 ANAs, and 5 Receptionists making up their cheerful, experienced, and knowledgeable support team, providing an "outstanding" level of service to their clients.
The Rota:
• Full time - 4 day week (9am - 6pm)
• 1:6 Saturdays
• No OOH
