Veterinary Surgeon - Wigan

A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work at the longest established veterinary practice in Wigan. This independent practice has been looking after the small animals of Wigan for many years and have held one defining principle - that your pets should be cared for to best of their ability.
They are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their warm and friendly team on a part time basis. The role will be 1 of 2 Vets in practice working both sole charge and collaboratively with a team of nurses, who are highly trained, to assist.
You need to be RCVS accredited and preferably have 1 years' experience in veterinary services. You need to be a reliable, responsible, and flexible individual. You must be competent and confi-dent with sole charge, have excellent communication skills and the ability to perform routine surgi-cal procedures. High standards of client and patient care are essential, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
The practice is fully equipped providing specialist services in laparoscopic surgery, electrosurgery, K-laser therapy, dental care, harmonic scapel and much more.
The Rota:
• Part time - 32 hours per week
• 3 days a week: 8.30am - 7pm
• Day shifts: Monday - Friday
The Benefits:
• Salary up to £50,000 DOE
• Relocation package or accommodation if required
• CPD allowance and 3 days paid CPD leave per year
• Payment of RCVS, VDS & BVA fees
