Summary

Location: Bispham Gardens, Blackpool

Working Hours: 9 am – 5 pm, part-time 2 days per week, Monday & Tuesday, and occasional weekend cover may be required.

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Glenholme Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused part-time Receptionist for our care home in Blackpool.

Whether you have worked as a Customer Service Representative, Front Desk Representative or Administrative Assistant or just stepping your feet into the world of customer relations, we would love to hear from you.

You will be the first point of contact for our visitors. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression of our care home.

Duties of a Receptionist

Give professional, pleasant, and polite impression of the home being the first point of contact for telephone calls and visitors
Meet and Greet people who visit the home, and offer refreshments
Answer the telephone and direct calls to the relevant care staff or take messages when required.
Build and maintain a good rapport with residents and families.
Assist in effective communication and ensure excellent records are kept in line with CQC and company regulations.
Ensure the station is clean and tidy at all times.
Support and Assist the Home Care Administrator with service users’ contract or admission paperwork.
Any other duties assigned to you by the manager.
Knowledge and skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Professional and well-groomed appearance.
Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Previous Administrative or Reception experience is desirable
This role requires an enhanced DBS to be carried out.
